Mr Camouflage Posted April 11, 2003 Share #4 Posted April 11, 2003 You gotta ask why?Surely putting twin turbos on the 3.5lt V6 would make more power than the 2.6lt.Maybe its going to be a four wheel drive 350Z, umm 260Z (2003 model) whatever you wanna call it. Upsets the Z naming conventions doesn't it. 2003 260Z GTR?If they dont connect up the 4wd, whats the point?
Mike Posted April 11, 2003 Share #5 Posted April 11, 2003 That's pretty sweet... although I wonder where people get this kind of cash. I'm sitting here trying to figure out how to pay for an L28 that needs a rebuild so I can install it in my 240z restoration project. Ugh... thefastestz Posted April 16, 2003 Share #8 Posted April 16, 2003 I wonder just how much faster it will be,If it becomes faster at all. (Has to be though)Also I wonder if the extra performance is worth the $$$$$.
Mike Posted April 16, 2003 Share #9 Posted April 16, 2003 Those logos (on the images) suggest that it's an engineering company that probably has the resources to do this kind of thing. I would give my left nut to have that kind of fun!
aRCH-Z Posted April 16, 2003 Share #10 Posted April 16, 2003 I agree with Mr Camouflage, why bother? It's damn nice and a very neat job no doubt.. but couldn't quite a substantial bit more power be made from bolting on one of the numerous twin turbo kits to the vq35de??was only a matter of time before someone did this though ;-)
