September 29, 20168 yr Vendor comment_504063 There was a very thin trim ring in between the panels and the light assemblies originally. The OE part numbers were 79902-E4100 and 79903-E4100 but they are no longer available. You can always fabricate something if it really bothers you but that's how it came from the factory.
