OK, been trying to get into the chat room for an hour now. I keep getting the same screen and can go no further. I have attached a picture of my screen to help with a solution.

OK, from that screen, when you click on the blue words "Main Garage" doesn't a smaller window appear with the words "WebChat [Main Garage]" at the top in the blue bar at the very top?

Nope, It stays on that screen and then tells me that I am already in the chat room and need to wait 180 seconds till it clears out. That is where I am getting hung up.

OK, probably bes to wait for a day and see if things work better after the software has a chance to reset itself and realize that NO ONE is in the Chat.

Do you know how to clear "Cookies" from your computer? or to delete Temp. Internet files?

Yep, and I've done it already. Even logged off the site and came in as a guest.

I just got kicked out of the Chat by the software also, so maybe it isn't as "fixed" as Mikey thought it was.

Smokey, from your screenshot, I can tell that you're not even logged in. Log in first and then try to enter the chat.

Nothing against you Carl, I just found that very funny.

Mike: He tried to enter and to those of us actually in the Chat room he appeared to be in, but HE was getting a message that said that someone using his user name was already in the Chat. He says that the "Chat" window never opened up on his computer. We then suggested that he log off and try to enter as a guest since he kept getting the message that "he" was already "in" the Chat.

??? I dunno; Those in the room saw an announcement that he had entered......... he just never saw the Chat window on his computer.

Mike, I tried it both logged in and signed off. Same response both times.

From your screenshot, I think you are running Win XP and using AOL's browser?

Try to minimize the AOL crap and just open Internet Explorer 6 by itself. I'm not sure how compatible we are with those AOL apps. I've seen tons of problems with AOL, especially when I was at the MSA show last year. I didn't have any other way to check in on the site while I was gone. So, I signed up for an AOL account. Every time I dialed in... I would minimize all of the AOL apps and just use IE.

But, we didn't have this chat room back then.

If you use a spam blocker, it should be turned off prior to entering the chat room. I used to have the same problem. I would click on the room, it would show me in there but not provide an answer window. Then I would log out, try to enter again and would
