Not sure how this would drop into a stock tankhttp://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=results/category_id=61/mode=cat/cat61.htm Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile Works just fine at least in a 280 tank! it's in mine waiting for the day when I finally give up on carbs. Real soon, yeah... You just have to position it in the right spot so the fuel sender arm clears it. You have control of the length/depth of the frame to get it "just" on the bottom of the tank. The only wrinkle is that the top elbows are too tall. I had to fabricate a hole and cap in the hatch area. It's more of a decoupled loop than a surge tank. I think I have my mind wrapped around it though. A vent would be a bad idea. It would be prone to overfilling and leaking. I will have to do this on my Z but keep running into the subframe. November 25, 20168 yr comment_506970 Integrated Engineering makes a Surge tank that includes Internal mounting for an Bosch 044 or similar pump.. Single or Dual pump versions available. Lots of VW/Audi/Subi guys use them. You can keep the stock 240Z tank, Return lines can route back to the surge tank. http://www.performancebyie.com/ie-submerged-044-billet-surge-tank Edited November 25, 20168 yr by Chickenman Added picture Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/56568-converting-240z-from-carbs-to-injection-fuel-tank/?&page=2#findComment-506970 Share on other sites
