Posted November 29, 20168 yr comment_507134 1973 240z. Was working on the heater and came across this toggle switch stuffed in behind on dash on the lower right side. Any idea as to what it would control. It's centered and will toggle up and down but always returns to center. I was thinking maybe for the antenna. November 29, 20168 yr Author comment_507136 Thanks Dave. Where would this had been mounted? There are no holes in the dash for it. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/56603-found-this-under-the-dash/#findComment-507136 Share on other sites
November 29, 20168 yr comment_507141 Historically, Nissan built the antenna switches into the radio faceplate for the 240 series. I've not seen a factory radio setup for a '73 so I can't guarantee this. Does your car have an aftermarket radio? If so, that might explain how your switch got evicted - especially if you no longer have a working power antenna. November 30, 20168 yr comment_507172 On my 73 the antenna switch is on the right side of the stock radio faceplate although its more of a rocker style switch than a toggle Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/56603-found-this-under-the-dash/#findComment-507172 Share on other sites
