Ran across this ad last night. Before he had a price for the whole car, and the rare items sold.  I tried to work a deal but we did not come to terms, oh well. 

I was too late for the rare parts and he wanted too much for the remainder, at least for me.

Yeah it is a shame to see the early ones get parted out, but at least the parts live on in other Z's. Not just a hunk of metal at the crusher.

Silver and rust, yep.  It is no longer posted.

I checked the ad every now and then to see if anything had been added to the sold list, but it never changed. 

Some peeps just think they have gold, when it is really just gilded rust.

I saw that come up the other day, he still wants $800 and it is pretty well striped.

It still has its original Hitachi AM radio and Series I steering wheel. Just those 2 items combined is over $700.00 in value.

Ah you have fallen for the trickery, please note the sold list.  The bottom pic is the most recent. No steering wheel. When I talked to him at the first post he said the radio was spoken for even though he did not include it's name in the sold list. It's best asset now is an E31 head and an 71A trans.

I tried to buy the radio earlier this week and responded with "need to sell the whole car. Thought about driving over but decided I have wasted to too much time on these kind of deals. I really don't need another radio

It is possible he never sold the radio as he first told me back in Nov.

Now the radio is $800 and the rest of the car comes with it for free.
