so the parts that the zstore sells with their manifold kit, do those have a curved area like you previously described? I don't want to get the wrong parts.

Sorry, I see where you got the wrong name now.  MSA calls their ECU's "fuel injection brains" or "computers" too, even though they're neither.  They're good but the informality can cause communication problems.  So, yes, those are the yokes that you need.  Calling them spacers can lead to misguided work, like "why don't I just stack some flat washers?".  Oh well.  Good luck.

I have installed two sets of MSA headers recently and both used the spacers as they call them.
What brand header are you using.

Some people prefer stainless steel, Some people like the copper nuts, Other people just like the regular OEM parts.   Point is, They all work

I personally got my exhaust studs from Datsun Spirt and have not had any problems with them.

Good Luck.

Just a tip. If you have the cast iron maifold and is off the car, lay a good straight edge across the face.

Mine was very warped. Took it to machine shop to have cut straight.

Not only will it seal better when put back on car but will relieve stresses on the studs tighting back to spec.
