Posted December 11, 20168 yr comment_507859 My l28 n42/n47 will be needing a bit of head work soon, specifically a valve job. Wondering if there is anyone located in Washington that has any recommendations for a shop to go to have this done in the near future, probably around January/February. Western Washington would be preferable, I'm located near Olympia. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/56655-need-shop-for-head-work/ Share on other sites
December 11, 20168 yr comment_507862 I would recommend Autosport in Seattle. Their machine shop specializes in classic motors, renowned for their work on imports & british stuff. Used them when I lived in that area, always excellent, their all car guys. January 24, 20178 yr comment_510987 You know "while you are at it" a little porting and polishing should be completed. Remember a lot of horsepower is generated in the head. Great time to look at a step or two larger cam. Dave Rebello charges $180 for any size you want the last time he quoted me. All based on your budget naturally.
