Posted December 22, 20168 yr comment_508685 Anyone have experience using these rotors. Look to be the vented type. Will they work on a stock 1972 240Z? Any problems with warpage. What is correct part number. I have seen 126-42004SL shown but not sure it is correct. This part number does not show on the Stop Tech web site for this model and year. Looking for any upgrade to the stock rotor for street use. Any suggestions for pads to use with them? December 22, 20168 yr comment_508700 I don't know what 126-42004SL fits. 12642011SL and 12642011SR are slotted and should fit. I have 12742011L and 12742011R which are drilled and slotted. I bought them when I was building a friend's car but he decided to go with a different setup. They're new in the box and I'd like to sell them since I can't use them on my race car. I use CarboTech pads (http://www.ctbrakes.com/) on the race car. They have several different compounds. December 22, 20168 yr comment_508714 I have them on my 240. Go to amazon.com and put your car info in, it'll tell you which ones you need. I can't say they're any better for street use but they sure look good through my wheels. I can post a pic when I get home. I used some Wagner ceramic pads. Good price and no squeal. These are the ones I have, Centrics. You can't see them too well in this picture but they look really good through the spokes. So much so that I want the rears disc conversion from zcardepot.com. You can see those ugly arse drums though! December 25, 20168 yr comment_508975 Hi Cliff, The photo on amazon looks like a vented disc, maybe just a generic photo. You are running non ventsd with the standard caliper right? You are right, they look nice and kind of put the rear drums to shame. Thats what is holding me back. Once u start, where do u end.... December 25, 20168 yr comment_508982 Yes they're solid. When I can afford to blow a few hundred dollars on nothing but looks I'm getting the rear kit from zcardepot with the same drilled and slotted rotors. Thank you and a Merry Christmas to you too!
