Quarter window removal

Hi everyone I am sorry to post but I can not find my answer in a search in the forum. I have a 1975 that I am in the process of repainting and I pulled the front and rear windows this weekend but I am having trouble trying to figure out how to remove the quarter windows. How do they come out? Are they like the front and rear windshields where it is held in by the seal? Or are they secured with bolts? Appreciate any help.

Kevin

Held in by four pesky little 4 mm phillips head bolts. You have to remove the inner plastic trim panel that surrounds the window to expose those screws. This is the tough part. The plastic rivets that hold it in are removed by punching out the center with an 1/8" punch, then remove the rivet.

Merry Christmas!

be prepared for the small bolt heads to snap off. and, iirc, they are quite long and will probably be rusted.

Thanks for advice. Car has 53,000 original miles and has been garage kept its entire life. Reason for repaint is paint was starting to fade and a small accident to front right valance and headlight bucket.
