grannyknot Posted December 28, 2016 Share #1 Posted December 28, 2016 Does anyone have a pic of how the FutoFab rear mounting, rear sway bar attaches to the bracket behind the Diff? The little diagram that comes with it doesn't make a lot of sense to me, I have emailed Dave but I guess he is off on holidays. This is the rear sway bar marked Orange Line but really it is an Addco product. Thanks, Chris
zKars Posted December 28, 2016 Share #2 Posted December 28, 2016 Wow, I just spent likely the same time you did staring at their little diagram, and the only thing I can imagine is that you have to drill a hole through the horizontal section of the rear cross bar To have a place to mount that angle bracket. That's not going to be an easy hole to drill with Canadian tire quality bits. I've looked at that before and thought you use the existing bolts that connect the uprights to the cross bar. Guess not...

wheee! Posted December 28, 2016 Share #4 Posted December 28, 2016 Interesting! Is the rear mount bar significantly different than the stock bar shape? Can the stock bar be mounted in the rear position? I am adding the Arizona Z Car mustache bar and dog bone so it should bolt inside the dog bone as per there website... just wondering if I need to order a new sway bar too.... Thank you, so you have the long side of the L bracket beneath the horizontal crossmember? That would certainly give more clearance for the half shafts.
Zedyone_kenobi Posted March 17, 2017 Share #6 Posted March 17, 2017 I really need to do this, but I have my electric fuel pump mounted exactly in the same place. I built a bracket to mount it. I need to order this and get the car up on stands and make it all fit.
