If you are a user of zcar.com please beaware that they are no where near as friendly, nice, or helpful as the people on this forum. This guy, Charles R. Cote <crcote@mindspring.com>, has begun harassing me just because I bump my post to the top of the list every few days. As many of you here know I have been searching for a Z for a couple months now and this person has decided that he is tired of me looking. He has begun sending me ugly, derogitory emails explaining that I should just give up and how he owns SOOO many cars that are out of my league, bragging about the fact that he pulls down $300k/year, etc. etc. etc.

So first I want to thank everyone here for being so kind, and two I just wanted to warn everyone here about this jerk.

i would post a message about his harassment and also send an email to vince or derek about his behavior with the emails that he sent you.

he would be banned from the site

The pissant probably makes $3k at Walmart or McD's, has a chip on his shoulder, and nothing else to contribute.

When I used to hang out at zcar.com, I noticed a lot of flaming and other anti-social behavior that is largely missing from this site, but the admin would jump in and squash the offenders when notified.

I agree with ZmeFly. report him to the admin at Zcar.com.

Yeah, contact the admin, let them sort it out.. and dont stop searching for that Z!

And yeah, I too have found the Z community to be very very friendly on the net, lots of great people and such an immense wealth of technical knowledge and an eagerness to share it.. mmm.. its great!

ARE YOU TELLING US THAT YOU ARE USING THIS WEBSITE AND YOU DON'T EVEN OWN A Z!! (JUST KIDDING)!!

One of the best aspects of this website is that all of the members will go out of their way to help other Z owners AND anyone wishing to acquire their own peice of Japanese Supercar history.

I hope you are able to find that perfect Z. Sometimes the journey can be just as much fun as the destination!! Good Luck!!

Better yet, post his handle on ZCar.com and let some of us have a whack at him.

Ok, yes it is zcar.com but on that forum I am austintxz since someone already had "stolen" texasz. My post is in the Wanted forum and is the exact same post I have on this site in the Wanted forum.

Since that site is not a true forum like this site users can only send you email so I do not know his username but his email addresses are as follows:

xxxxx@xxxxxx.xxx then after I blocked this one he started sending them from his work which is xxxx@xxxx.xxx (emails deleted by admin)

I did report him to the HR department of his company and was just looking into reporting him to the zcar.com admins. I think that I may also report him to Mindspring for what it's worth, not likely that will do anything but what the heck.

Thank you guys! His deragatory comments have really been eating at me and I'm glad to see that others share my opinion.

I find everywhere you go in life someone will always jump at the chance to make you feel smaller if it makes him/her feel bigger. It's unfortunate but that's the way life is the best to deal with him is to yes report him and second ignore them. People like this often thrive on attention taking that away from them is like taking a lollipop off an infant.

I've never really got into the Zcar.com forums I used to use Zdriver but in recent months have found it rather useless.

This site has definately helped me in a number of ways and my attitute towards helping others out basically goes something like this.

"If you want to be informed inform others" what I mean is I approach every thread and if I feel I can help I do all I can. I am very grateful when the same favour is returned to me. Even if sometimes I may not have mentioned it.

So thanks to all who have contributed.

getting away from that nasty prick that was harrassing this poor fella, I just thought to add that I spent much time on zdriver.com prior to getting hooked here on this site, but geez that site has slowed since the new format was introduced. Suppose people just don't like change hey! Never the less good to see a thriving freindly z crowd here on a well organised site!
