wires dangling and minor electrical issues

I'm now moving onto the electrical system of my 72 Z. None of my lights work except for  hazards on the left side. All my gauges work, my ammeter is always a little to the right, unsure if this is good? My voltage at the battery is 13.5 and goes up when I rev.  My brake light on the cluster works when the e-brake is up.

There's a few wires not connected, most of them I have figured out.

I wanted to know how to keep the wires from dangling all over the place, most of my wiring is connected.

Can someone upload some photos on both ends of the firewall(interior), by the steering column, center console on how the wires are tucked away?

I know on the right side the wiring is held in place by a leather/vinyl wrap but everything is just a mess.

Thanks!!

Perhaps these will help.  If your harness is not torn apart, everything pretty well falls into place with the factory retainers.  I'm not sure by what you mean by "both ends of the firewall".  I've got a couple of additional pics if needed.

As to lights not working, you want to be sure all the grounds connections are clean and tight, have a bit of dielectric grease.  The combo switch, turn signal switch, and the fuse box connections are also major culprits.  Be very methodical in working through it - don't scattershoot.

Thank you for this. I should have stated the interior side of it, but this is very helpful also.
