April 30, 20186 yr comment_548308 Give me a half hour and I will take a pic...all that is there for a hanger on my car is a captive nut point for a hanger to be attached to, just like the scan HS30-H posted above. The mount point on my car is passenger side only. I read that it was developed for the 280z? The stock centre mount (numbered 7 in my post above) attaches to captive nuts in the diff crossmember. One on OEM single pipe systems, two on OEM twin pipe systems. I don't know where you read that the new system was "developed for the 280Z"? That might be something a bit lost in translation? Fujitsubo themselves have not mentioned anything about the 280Z in particular as far as I'm aware. I think the new system is designed to work on a wide range of production years, and - as I understand it - they have not welded mount tabs to the system itself because they wanted to allow more scope for custom mounting methods through the use of band clamps which can be positioned on a case-by-case, car-by-car basis. April 30, 20186 yr comment_548312 I think that mount on the pipe is upside down...to me, the long portion should be at the pipe. May 2, 20186 yr comment_548497 Install is going pretty smoothly. Guessing on mounts and directions of mounts. But I think I have it. I won’t tighten anything until the header is in. The header is at the ceramic coating shop. Hopefully finishing this weekend. Also this far back shouldn't be too hot, I can normally touch mufflers with a bare hand without getting burnt. May 2, 20186 yr comment_548539 I said 'bumper' as in the strip around the bumper corner. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/56953-new-fujitsubo-exhaust-system-to-be-released/?&page=32#findComment-548539 Share on other sites
