It’s not. I had Jesse Streeter communicate directly with Fujitsubo to make sure it works with my exhaust.

I’m sure it looks similar if not basically identical to their old system.

Doesn't look like the header from page one of this thread though.  I guess fingers crossed still:)

Look at the pics that Alan put up from the magazine, you see the new version on the left, older on the right..... Look at the first pipe.

Fujitsubo quote the current pipe diameter - several times in several different places - as 50.8mm x 2.

Volume 13 of NOSTALGIC SPEED magazine - published July 2017 - carried an 'Advertorial' feature on the new Fujitsubo Legalis R system for the S30-series Z. See scans below:

Old design on the right, new design on the left:

Box on the bottom right gives data for an L28 engine in the tested car.

Apparently their improvements have been realised through various changes, notably the exhaust manifold and the resonator box re-design.

Top Picture.  Then the second for comparisson.

Whats the part number thats cut into the manifold?

That might be the header that doesn't work with LHD z's.  There were 2 to choose from that bolt to the new exhaust.  Again, language barrier, new product, so my fingers are still crossed it bolts up:) I am hopeful though.  I did as much due diligence as possible.

I hope for you it does fit.  you 1000% have the old style header and new style for the rest. Fujitsubo say that they're not compatible? They do not say that any of their's worth with LHD cars, they just say its for r180 diffs.

If you check the number thats lazer etched on the manifold it'll tell you the part number.  then check the fujitsubo site.

It is not compatible with mounting Allowed genuine EX Mani and Super EX (510-15036) only when combined with safety standards compatible product 2-seater-only Super EX (510-15035).
Remarks
There is a case where every old car caused the part processing at the time of mounting. Costs and claims, etc. in that case can not respond at all. Detailed data is super EX (510-15035) is mounted state.

Quote from their webpage:

It is
only compatible with safety standard conformity product 2 seater exclusive
Super EX (510-15037) WHICH IS WHAT I HAVE.

Some machining may occur when attaching an old car. In that case the cost and claims etc can not be applied at all.
Detailed data is Super EX (510-15037) installed.

Sorry, that wasn't my intention!

It is the old style though, which is strange?

New Fujitsubo header is in! Well mostly. It’s coated in chromex ceramic coating inside and out for heat reduction.

Clears steering well. Also my series 1 heat shield could be bent up to clear

See your first pipe.  Now compare that to the magazine article and the shape, it matches the old one on the right.

This is the new type, matches the pic on the left.

Maybe they changed the design after the article?  Who knows until I try and bolt it up.

So current offerings for headers is 510-15035 and 510-15037 .  The exhaust says it only bolts to 510-15037, which is what I have, which matches pictures if you google 510-15037.  So again fingers crossed:)

I'd just try and see what happens.

They didn't change the design after the article, the pic above is a recent one. If you compare the two there's quite a few detail changes.
