January 31, 20178 yr comment_511437 Ummm... no. Hope you're flushing the whole system. Brake fluid is a regular maintenance item just like engine oil. January 31, 20178 yr comment_511442 Don't know if you can get it in the states anymore, but I alternate with super blue brake fluid when I do a flush. Gives me a visual indicator of when the lines are clean with new fluid! January 31, 20178 yr Author comment_511444 I meant this more as a contest than as a problem to be solved! The car has been idle for most of the last eighteen years. I've brought it back to daily driver status recently and changed all the fluids. The clutch reservoir was even worse than this!Wheee! The blue fluid is NLA thanks to our gov't.Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/56967-is-your-brake-fluid-this-dirty/#findComment-511444 Share on other sites

February 1, 20178 yr comment_511523 Since we're doing comparisons'. I think I may have Rob beat for dirty Brake Fluid when I received my 280Z from PO. It looked like the Brake Fluid hadn't been changed in 20 years. It was filthy black. Flsudhe the whole system and was surprised that I had to replace only 1 rear wheel cylinder due to leakage. Â And too many JuJubes have the same effect as too many Pistachios... Google tells all!!
