If you have two together you can climb up pretty far, or I use to could. Anyway I showed my next door neighbor's kid how to and the next day she had climbed up about 10 or 15 feet. Needless to say her parents were not happy but the little girl loved it. Said she was walking on a tightrope. February 4, 20178 yr comment_511778 A few years ago, one of the neighborhood teenagers came around my corner at midnight too fast and took out my neighbors mailbox.. He also wound up on the guy wires with the cable IN the wheel well in front of the rear axle hung up pretty good. It took the power company working till 6am to get that car off finally by cutting the guy wires. His parents were not happy. February 4, 20178 yr comment_511780 I accidentally back over one in the middle of the night once. I pulled forward and couldn't go anywhere. Got out and found it up between the tire and fender and my freshly restored 65 Corvair mangled to hell.Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/56986-girl-wires-opposite-side-of-street/#findComment-511780 Share on other sites

My son ran off the road and took out a light pole. $6K for a light pole. If I would have known that I would have went and grabbed it for scrap since it was all aluminum! i was not happy! I'm just glad he was alright and no one else was involved. February 4, 20178 yr Author comment_511819 Guide wires. I read an interview with Dale Earnhardt Jr. where the reporter wrote when he was young and wasn't close to his Dad they could be barely afford to pay their "fire bill". He said power bill.
