Hi all,

I just enabled a new feature that adds security questions to your accounts.  The purpose of this is to secure your accounts against hackers.  It's not likely that our system will be hacked, but, it will also give Admins the capability to validate your account in case you lose your password (or change email addresses and forget your login).  If you have any issues, please let me know.  Thanks.

Mike

I having trouble logging into CZCC from other devices now (PC and iphone) than my usual ipad. It asks for the security question, which I answer correctly, but it is fails to accept it, try again, same thing, then it says I can't try again until such and such a time.

Clearly I'm logged in nicely on this device (ipad).  No obvious way to get it to ask me one of the other questions I've answered. Is this an issue or is it me?

I also just went to the Account security section of my profile, and it asks me for the account pwd, which I entered correctly, and it too fails and says I can't try again for 5 minutes. Fun huh?

Are you only seeing this on the iPad ?  Are you using our app or just the built in Safari browser?

I actually use Chrome on the ipad.

I was able to login to the account security with my password the last time I tried it. I changed the security questions and answers.

I'll go try logging in to the account from the other machines again and see what happens

Ok this is just getting silly. Now I have been prevented from getting in on my ipad using Chrome. I last got in from my PC, on Chrome there. CLosed the window. Opened my ipad, opened chrome, went to my usual link, and got a message about not having permission to view this stream. I'm logged out. TRy to log in several times. Same "can't view this stream." Error.

Tried Safari on my ipad, same thing. Well actually after trying for the 5th time, I'm magically allowed in! What is going on?

Went back and tried Chrome on the ipad, still can't get in. Tried several times, no love. Closed the Safari window as well.

I've had just about enough of this improvements to security stuff. I'll try again tomorrow when I'm not quite so grumpy

Just wait until the insurance companies force you to buy self-driving cars from the same folks (Google, Apple, and Microsoft). The Bass Turds can't even do their native applications (OS & Browsers) w/o bugs after all these years.

I think they should give us bug free software that works for a year before any Govt. lets them sell an autonomous car... they have to prove they can do something right for a change.

Yeah for software! It makes the world so much better....  <<<NOT>>>

Autonomous cars reminds me of a joke. Something like.... Guy in front of a room of engineers asks the crowd "Show of hands... Who in this audience would get in a plane if they knew their company wrote the software that ran the plane?" Only one guy raised his hand...

He said he wasn't worried in the least about a crash. Because if the company HE worked for wrote the software, it would never get off the ground.  LOL

Ok, I think the security questions needs some bugs worked out of it with the mobile version (PC version seems to work just fine).  I'm going to make them optional until these kinks are worked out.  If you want to disable the security questions, go into your account settings and disable them.

@Mike So, when I log in, I have to answer a security question each and every time I log in.  Is that the way it's supposed to work?

Yes, unless you click the "remember me" button and the system won't ask you upon every login.
