Posted February 18, 20178 yr comment_513245 So I am putting together a 75 280 and I have a 77 parts car. Turns out that the doors do not interchange so now I need 75 door skins does anyone make them? February 18, 20178 yr comment_513278 What is the issue with the old skin? How did you remove it? I believe all of the skins are the same, the internals are different and the door strikes are different I believe... I had to replace the skin because of copious amounts of cancer. I ended up removing both skins with a screwdriver and hammer and installed the good used skin from the 77 onto the 75 door shell. Just used a skinning hammer and dolly for installation.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/57092-door-skins/#findComment-513312 Share on other sites

February 20, 20178 yr comment_513423 I have a set for the 240z they we modified them for light weight race doors and ended up not using them. I am sure they could still be used as skins. May 16, 20177 yr comment_521038 I have not found any new skins in the U.S. There are some being sold in Australia. I have a lead on a used skin, and I hope to avoid shipping from overseas. I will certainly let you know if I want yours. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/57092-door-skins/#findComment-521038 Share on other sites
