Zed Head Posted March 13, 2017 Share #14 Posted March 13, 2017 Those are aftermarket and don't seem to have a front or back. Does make things easier though. Or are you just messing with us?
Dave WM Posted March 13, 2017 Author Share #15 Posted March 13, 2017 ok so old ones that I have which are not too beat up, you can clearly make out a radius on the inside bead. The radius is not centered in the bead but rather is centered on the outside edge of the bead (the relief cut on the bushing). The location of the radius would seem to provide for correct geometry for bending forces when installed with the radius centered high. note the pic posted by CO is of the replacements where the radius looks to be centered. I suspect all this is moot since the differences in actual performance are I am quite sure are negligible.

Or are you just messing with us? They have a flat side and a rounded side, the rounded side goes out against the cup washer, the flat side stays in the middle on both sides up against the frame. Those are hyperflex polyurethane I believe? "Not all bushings are made alike. Some can break T/C Rods. G-Machine on left and Hyperflex on right." Zed Head Posted March 13, 2017 Share #17 Posted March 13, 2017 I love what Blue did on that site, site, but, big-picture-wise he's just a guy guessing like us. Just looking for some definitive documentation. Fun to talk about too.
