March 22, 20178 yr comment_516045 Villeman.....I'm no paint expert, but I don't see any yellow in that primer. More like a very light tan/khaki. If you want it to match, I'd get some color samples at a local paint store and bring them to the car to match....IMO. Looks like you're trying to do a nice resto.....good luck! January 3, 20187 yr comment_538893 The 240Zs were painted body color. The 280Zs were left in that cream colored primer. Not sure about the 260Zs. Chuck I know this is an old dead thread but I thought I should add that my July ‘73 240z has the cream primer underneath, not body color, so they must have made this change before the 260z came along.
