Don't Forget! ZCON 2017 in Austin, Texas is just over three months away (June 20-24th)!

We have several exciting developments regarding this years event:

• Early Bird pricing expires on April 1st, 2017. Register today!

• Harris Hill Road (our HPDE venue), has recently been repaved, this smooth as silk surface is ready for your Z when it arrives in June!

• Speaking of H2R, limited HPDE spots are still available. Get them while they're hot!

Just curious, do we have to pay to park their nightly?  Self parking is 10/day per the website...You would think that would be waved since we are mass booking for a car show.

Just a crazy idea, to make the drive up their less stressful, I am considering a 5 speed swap.  Any ideas where I can get my hands on a good 81-83 5 speed?  I already have a B type transmission, so it should just bolt in easy peasy.  The idea of driving 3 hours at 4k rpm is a bit nauseating.

So we had our weekly ZCON planning meeting this PM and I've confirmed that parking at the hotel is included in the room charge.  There should be no additional charge for parking at the hotel.

FYI: I just registered but hotel booking failed. They said $139 rate is no longer available and quoted rates of ~ $260/night.... crazy.

Do you think the Zclub can arrange for more rooms at the favourable rate or book a nearby hotel otherwise it will be AirB&B off site for us.

This doesn't make any sense.  In our planning meeting tonight we covered the hotel bookings so far and there were definitely a number of rooms left at the Hilton.

I'll look into this tomorrow and see what's up and will let you know.

So I received a reply from our club member who has been the primary interface with the hotel and as I suspected he also said this is not possible as there are definitely rooms still available.

I will send you a PM with his contact info so you can get in touch with him directly and he will make sure this gets resolved.

FYI yesterday when I got the crazy quote this is then number I rang.  It was direct to the hotel.
