I installed a heavy duty headlight harness on my 1978 Z and now my high beam lights are on when it is in low beam mode and the opposite I have low beam lights on when I pull the lever to switch to high beam. Any one else had this happen when installing a headlight harness?

Are you saying that the high beam indicator is lit when the low beams are on?

Where'd you get it?  Did it have instructions?

It came from Black Dragon and it had good instructions which I followed and have rechecked a few times and I cannot see where a simple switching of a connector will reverse this problem.

The high beam indicator is lit as well as the high beam lights are on.

So you pull on the turn signal lever, the brights come on as well as the dash indicator, then you pull the lever again, and it switches to low beam and the dash indicator goes out. What's the problem again? The turn signal lever does not have two different positions which could be mixed up...

Just looked up this harness on Black Dragon and it is the plug and play version with Relays. Hard to mess it up. Wonder if some one converted to H4 bulbs and rewired the bulbs? As I remember the bulbs have three wires. High, Low and a ground? That's the only place I can think of where wire could be mixed up?
