The air dam from BRE2.com that several on this post have is black.  Is this the way it came or did you paint it?  My '72 is white and it looks like a black BRE would look good on the car.

I bought the Z with this air dam already installed. I don't think it's from BRE, though... if I had to guess it came from MSA - and I'm sure it came black

Agreed i like the black air dam look

I'm sticking this one in just for fun, not because anyone would or could buy one.  This is the 1st generation BRE "Spook", used only in the 1970 competition season.  It was already installed by the dealer when I bought the car.  Its been suggested by a knowledgeable source it may be the last one in existence.  This design was replaced by the version in post #30.

You should email Peter at info@BRE2.net he has been pretty good about responding. Do you have and photos of the race cars with this on a 240?

Actually Randy Jaffe who built  the #46 tribute car has shared one of my photos with Peter who authenticated it - I have the email from Randy with Peter's comment.  He used the 2nd gen. Spook on his car and I was kidding Randy about coming for my Spook for greater accuracy.  The BRE2 web  store has the photos of John Morton in 1970 with this style Spook.
