That's a good point about the Start versus Run power at the ballast.  It will do a similar thing if the AFM contact switch is dirty or non-functional, but will run for a few seconds on residual fuel pressure.
SeK, you should try the starting fluid.  It will tell you a lot.  And if it does start then die immediately, you need to say that.  Won't "turn on anymore" could mean too many things.  The answer is in the details.
There is no "CPU icon" on a 76.  Where is this thing located? 
 

Zed Head, do you think the problem could be on that one wire? Acc B? Because if so I called autozone for fusible links and they told me they sell by gauge and he has no clue about amperage. But is the black wire always 80amps..?

he used yellow wire which according to this site I found it should be red and not yellow

1. Don't trust that chart.

2. Fusible link wire should burn up and leave the insulation intact. Considering the condition of the one link, that doesn't look like what happened in your car.

3. Again, given the lack of provenance on the links, I recommend you replace them all. The FSM on page BE-6 gives the wire sizes in mm2. Take those sizes and find the right table on this site: http://www.rapidtables.com/calc/wire/awg-to-mm.htm. That will give you the gauge of the wire. If you don't have a copy of the FSM, download it from here or from the link in my signature.

Autozone is not going to carry fusible links. Neither is ORielly's.  Go ahead and order the correct parts from one of the links that was given to you.  (2) brown(or red), (1) black, (1) green and (2) covers..  They are cheap enough to carry spares in your glove box.  

The gauge you pictured is your voltmeter and fuel gauge.  Check to be sure you have gas.  

Edit to say you are posting reference pics for a 75'.  Remember yours is a 76'.   It makes a Huge difference when referencing some specific parts, fusible links being one of them.
