Nope - not rest and recuperation.  My R&R is now Rescue & Refurb.  Quite a few things from the salvage yard are in flight - a bunch of stuff is already off at plating, other items are getting cleaned and stripped for plating and/or painting.  Today was work on a set of horns from the '73 car. I forgot to get a pic of how they looked before degreasing but they were pretty nasty.  Many thanks to those who recently contributed to a thread on restoring horns to the OE look.  Also in work is a hatch strut with like-new rebound action - not sure where the golden hue came from in the pic, everything is actually bright silver.  Its pretty amazing how much stuff there is out there that can be given a second life with just a little bit of TLC.
