I have been following that one as well.  Another Z in the latest RASH of Z's that have hit the market.  But this one is extremely original and drive able.  I am looking to see how far in the 20's it may go. I think it may hit 30.

Sold for $18,250.  Considering it is a '73, the colors are not the most popular, and just a few condition issues, I think it went for a fair price.  You are right, classic Z's have been popping up everywhere lately.  Unsure if it is hurting the value or helping it but I have not seen anyone get a "steal" unless I missed an auction.  Makes me thankful I picked up my '71 240z when I did in 2014.

Agreed, no way I would have acquired my car for what I did in 2008

I almost look smart for purchasing both my datsuns right before this price increase... It is almost as if I know what I am doing...

Which assuredly I do not.

I still can't get over how many of these cars sit in storage or someone's garage for umpteen plus years. The driving experience is a reason to have one I think. There again either you are old enough to appreciate one or too old to deal with it. 18K is probably a good price though and not too much to get the issues sorted. HAPPY DRIVING new owner.

Too many of the Z's were parked because they had a minor problem that would have been easy to fix. Carb tuning, brakes, valve adjustment were some of the most common reasons I've run into. Sad.
