July 23, 20177 yr comment_526418 Guy, are you going to use a e12-80 distributor with that motor? I know you like to stay original but this one is an exception. It's black!  Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/57719-stroker-31/?&page=8#findComment-526418 Share on other sites

July 23, 20177 yr comment_526443 What spark plugs are you using and is your motor set up for pump gas? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/57719-stroker-31/?&page=8#findComment-526443 Share on other sites
July 24, 20177 yr Author comment_526446 Hi John.....CR is 10.7 to 1, so it should do fine on pump gas (93 octane in Virginia). I think I'll keep 50 gallons of race fuel just to mix 50/50.....couldn't hurt. July 24, 20177 yr comment_526474 Looks good! Â I'm surprised you kept the distributor. Â When you say SK carbs aren't they the same as OER? Â I have OER's on mine and can share my jetting when the time comes. July 24, 20177 yr Author comment_526494 Jason.....I don't have a clue....I've never futzed with side draft carbs before....a totally new experience. I'll break it in with SU's then take it up north to my good friend Eiji......we'll install an electric fuel pump and some SK's (whatever he recommends)., then tune 'em! Then we'll head to Dinwiddie for a little head to head!!!! I put in a killswitch just in case things get a little upside down and fuel keeps pumpingSent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/57719-stroker-31/?&page=8#findComment-526495 Share on other sites
