May 30, 20177 yr comment_522010 There is a Lancia Delta for sale near me, what glorious machines. It would be biting off a bit more than I could chew right now. But maybe one day. May 30, 20177 yr comment_522025 Zedyone's affinity is genetic. He just needs guidance on which Italian car. For me, I am from Newfoundland and have the genetic affinity to club seals. These cars are getting valuable and my recollection of yours is that it is mostly parts swapping from being very original You also seem to think about Alfas more than occasionally. If you sell your 240 the next buyer may really value having the original engine. Clean it up, keep it oiled, and call it art for now. Completely agree with this. My dad did the same thing with his Charger. Took the original 440 out and stored it to put a Hemi in. That would have been 1980. All these years later, it has proven to be a great decision. While everyone says they're going to keep their car forever, the reality is that unless the car is totaled, you aren't going to be the last owner. With the rising value of these cars, I think keeping the original numbers matching engine would be a wise choice. Wrap it up and stow it away.
