Posted April 22, 200321 yr comment_34731 Just wondering if you could give me an idea on what you would consider a reasonable price to pay for a Cannon Triple 40mm webber intake manifold with no carbs linkages etc Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/5781-pricevalue-advice-needed/ Share on other sites
April 22, 200321 yr comment_34746 Z Kid, I have not seen or heard of this manifold, does it look or flow as good as a Dat-Rally, or is 40MM max allowable inside diam. does it use insulators. Is there any pics around. Sorry more questions than answers. good luck Steve:classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/5781-pricevalue-advice-needed/#findComment-34746 Share on other sites
April 22, 200321 yr Author comment_34751 Well I went and had a look at it this arvo, and its a Cannon (not a brand i am familiar with) it measures up like it would take 44/45's not just the 40's, appears quite clean on the inside, however it is a bit bastardised (few too many holes drilled in the mounting plate) The guy had never had it on his car nor did he have any linkages etc, so I guess until I find out more about cannon manifolds, it will be a case of wait and see.Cheers Chris Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/5781-pricevalue-advice-needed/#findComment-34751 Share on other sites
April 22, 200321 yr comment_34767 I have a Cannon manifold and triple DCOE 40's. Came with the car, so I have no idea what it would be worth. I usually only see them on ebay with carbs attached. About all I can say is that it seems to work, although I still am having trouble getting the weber's to accelerate properly at my 6500 foot altitude. Victor.
