Run this along the rubber. It is clear and flows.

Stick the nose between the glass and rubber on the outside and run along the 2 sides and bottom.

Scrap away the extra after it cures.

The one you have is great for where the metal and seal meet when first installing. 

Once installed, fix any problems with the one I suggested. It is especially nice when sealing the seal to the glass.

I recommend the permatex glass sealer. It allows you get under the seal. I used it years ago until I purchased the Nissan seal. Didn't have to use any thing after that. Best of luck

I really cant believe this is happening. I am going back to the shop that restored and painted the car 1 year ago! This is a Brand new seal sold by www.vintagerubber.com How come i am experiencing 2 leaks on a US$110  rubber seal???? Is it normal to have these kind of leaks with Brand news seals and of the highest quality?

A correct installation requires the use of sealants. It is in the FSM.

Many people who do not use sealant may garage their cars or may live in areas where there is not a lot of rain or snow.

When in doubt follow the manufacturer's recommendations.

I have digital crayon

Actually it is just done by selecting a region then using a "colourize" feature to tint it.   I use Paint-Shop Pro Version 5 from Windows 95 days.  Works great for what I need.
