I remember that on Zcar... Very unpleasant. July 28, 20177 yr comment_526797 It would be a shame to loose all that data that people have figured out. Should be archived if anything. It's like google searching a zcar.com link and getting routed to their forum index. [emoji58] frustrating when searching for solutions. July 30, 20177 yr comment_527017 I agree with some of the others. Tony D can come across badly at times, but I believe some of that happens to be the limitation of the forum as a medium. As I have seen the same happen here at times. He is very knowledgeable and has years of experience. There is a wealth of information on the site and much of it is very good and very technical. It would be a shame to loose that. I don't visit there much any more unless I am looking for something very specific because they can be quick to flame noobies or those that don't exhibit some level or having searched for the answer first. Derek's siamesed head is only one of many examples of the amazing info there, custom intakes designed with flow software, brake upgrade FAQ's, etc.,etc. That site fills a different need than this site but they are both full of valuable information Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/58193-hybridzorg-is-for-sale/?&page=3#findComment-527017 Share on other sites

I don't think it's like that anymore, at least I haven't seen that behavior in a while. I don't read all of the the threads but I think those guys may have moved on. Even Tony's a little calmer these days. And yes, Derek's new head is going to be amazing. July 31, 20177 yr comment_527074 What are the head details? BMC did one with 3 sections of a KA24 head sandwiched together to make DOHC head for an L28. That was not enough so he bored and stroked it to 3.1... but that was not enough so he added two turbos. One of the most impressive engineering efforts ever by one person... I think he may have been in his early 20's when he did it. July 31, 20177 yr comment_527120 Hi guys, let's keep this post on a positive note. I did send an offer to the admin to help them out but it looks like they have wind in their sails again. Let's hope the wind lasts and they are able to stay online. I am willing to help them out in any way possible but I cannot send funds. Other than technology, I cannot use our funds to help their site at the moment. I can always host, or provide technical help though. Anyway, it would be a shame to let their content go because they have some great info. My offer was to host their site on our server because we have plenty of bandwidth and storage space. Once they are ready, I'll keep the offer open. Anyway, about the support button, I am going to work on getting something up soon. Our store options are kind of confusing at the moment and I'll have to spend some time looking into the usability. The new layout should be an improvement but I still think the content inside the store needs to be improved (which is my job). Thanks guys.
