I think he likely has that much (and more) money into it, but I think he's dreaming if he thinks he's going to get that much, mostly because of the aesthetic choices made. I just don't think there's a market for a highly modified Z like that for that price. Remember the lime green SR20 swapped 240z from several years ago? I think he originally listed it for $125k, and it sold for something like $75k. It was much more tasteful than this car. However, that was before prices shot up, so it might sell for more than $75k these days.

I don't want to bash, but does anyone think the price is a little steep?

There was another '73 listed on that site for $40K.  Do people really get those prices or are they trolling for suckers?

Let's poke holes.......the description says it has a 383 engine from a '71 Corvette under the hood.  To the best of my knowledge, no '71 Corvette had a 383 engine - only 350 or 454 blocks.  I suppose the right buyer with a pocket full of cash, for instance Kermit the Frog, might like the color and rear spoiler.  Good luck to the seller and the buyer.

They have video of the car running and actually driving 50 feet in the shop (end of the video).  The pictures are thorough and easy to get through.  It has about 2 inches of ground clearance and lots of hoses and brake lines underneath waiting to be torn off, underneath.  Last 10 or so pictures.  Hate to bash on it but it doesn't really seem street-ready.  More of a show car.

My 2 cents.........the color........not a fan

the interior enhancements not bad but if the factory guages work I prefer them

the V8 conversion......not a fan

body kit.........not a fan it destroys the sexy lines

That being said if I had 75k it would go towards a nice used 911, provided my Z was all finished. Not quite sure why someone would dump that much money and time into a great car and sell it. So many enthusiasts abroad maybe one of them will plop down a few EUROS on it.

The 383 comes from a Chevy 350 block and Chevy 400 crank IIRC. Mopar is famous for their 383 big block.
