Posted August 6, 20177 yr comment_527507 I have a 260z with some electrical issues. I was going to try and replace the wiring harness and purchased one off e-bay. The under dash harness on my car has a label with the part number 24013 N3600 but the one I purchased has a part number 24013 N3601. They both seem to be the same so I don't understand the number difference. Is there a list somewhere with the part numbers used on the 260z? August 6, 20177 yr comment_527510 http://www.classiczcars.com/store/ - If you want to support this site and keep it online http://www.carpartsmanual.com 24013-N3600 2 SEATER 2+2 SEAT ER MANUAL 24013-N3601 2 SEATER 2+2 SEAT ER Neither source would describe the difference between the two. August 7, 20177 yr Author comment_527524 Fantastic resource! Thank you! I'm assuming because the N3600 says MANUAL and the N3601 doesn't specify, the latter is for an Automatic. I might try the N3601 in my manual Z since they seem similar. I'll just check for any changes in the plugs or wiring colors as I hook it up. Any idea what the ER stands for? Jeff BTW, I just had my Z out last week for my first ever SCCA autocross. I was just about the slowest person out there but had a lot of fun. Luckily with my gauges not working (except the spedo) due to electrical problems, my tach didn't work. That way I didn't have to worry about redlining it. August 7, 20177 yr comment_527529 The "ER" is just a typo. It should be "SEATER", not " SEAT ER". Also, l think your assumption about the second one being for the auto trans is a good one. November 28, 20177 yr Author comment_536072 It worked out fine except for an extra wire. But then again, my original wiring had undergone so many modifications, I might of been missing that wire due to PO's re-wiring to install a radio or anti-thief system. November 28, 20177 yr comment_536090 Awesome. I’ll have to pull the harness from my 1972 pats car then. My 73 has the worst harness ever. November 28, 20177 yr Author comment_536093 I had to change both the dash and fuse box harnesses but the problem ended up being due to a bad connection.
