Today i woke up and told myself that my name is Chris, and I am not going to buy any more worthless rubbish(not implying anything in that boot is worthless rubbish but lots of my bits are). At that very point, a series of events was unfolding that was trying to get me to buy stuff. A 260Z2 seater rolling tub, along with a 2+2 and a spare front clip (frame only) was being pushed onto me, I resisted, and am now suffering withdrawl symptoms for lack of spending money.

Now for the real questions:

Among that load of spares are there any 240Z badges ie lower guard and front bonnet and rear hatch, that you could be persuaded to part with.

And why 240Z tail lights?

PS Its a damn good looking bootful, and good luck storing stuff (remember you can only fit so much under your bed)

What did that 2 seater come with? interior etc?

I got one 240Z badge in the heap, brand new, not sure where it goes though. Its about 15cm long and says "240Z", he had about 5 of them, 2 orginal '69 ones, the rest replicas. He didnt want to part with them but at the last minute threw one in.

Why 240Z tail lights? I think they look better than they 260Z ones witht he seperate reverse light. I always wanted them but was never going to puch for them, but when he whipped out these ones which are in good shape, i couldnt say no to fulfil my fantasy

Now the question, do you have any spares you want to sell

THe shell had a few of the plastic trim bits but not in very good nick, however if you are interested I can go back tomorrow and work out exactly whats there. Aside from mechanical bits I have very little that is useful/worthwhile that I don't need for my car. Some of the car was OK, but it had a huge hole for a sunroof, just no sunroof, I guess it would be good to go shooting out of.

IF you want to sell the badge, and its the one from the rear hatch (it sounds like it) I would like to be first on the list.

What's the condition of this shell? Straight? How much rust?

Just a little update on my car. At my mechanic atm getting a quote on fixing non roadworthy items. Had a rough quote from a body shop for the chassis work. $3800! Should have an offical quote by next week.

It seems if the workshop doesn't wanna pay up after my letter of demand, then I do still have a good possibility of getting the money.

I go to the DoT get the car inspected then they will take the workshop to court and take their licence off them. If they loose their licence it leaves an open path for me to go to small claims court. Apparently it's been done sucessfully, many times. Here's hopeing.

The shell is still in the guys yard, between me initially looking and him dropping his price a bit, he took all the glass out of it and most of the usable trim panels. On top of a huge hole in the roog (maybe a sunroof, or to go shooting out of) it had some dodgy reapairs to the front end. So not worth dragging home.
