What is the best timing of a 240z with a camshaft schneider 274F 1800 - 6000 rpm???

The smart thing to do is to degree it. There are variables to consider, but you could get away with straight up. Variables like chain stretch , head shave , make a difference . I'm running 9 degrees advance on my cam, but with above stated factors

 

 

My car is stock, just change the camshaft, and the electronic ignition

17 initial - 35-38 total

You could explain the 35-38total, in my city no mechanic wants to fix my engine, they are afraid because they had never seen a 240z
