They can be buffed with a string buff and plastic polish but the rpm's need to be 1800 or lower or you can melt the lens.

The news lenses look good...

Thanks. Who did you purchase it from and did it come with the thin fibre board that goes in the open areas of the shock towers for support.

But the way, your paint looks awesome.

I believe I got it on eBay. As far as the fibre board, I used my old ones. I straightened them and reinforced them with fiberglass...

Went to the chrome shop today to pick up some bumper parts. Thought it was cool to see some of the pieces in copper

Yup, they use copper for adhesion and they can also use it as a filler to make a bumper look really sharp. They plate it, then file and shape it, and then plate some more until they get it just shaped. Then they chrome it. It's a neat process
