Wondering if anyone has installed a Stahl header? If so, have you had issues with the steering column clearing the header?IMG_20170909_161845914.jpgIMG_20170909_161902154.jpg

Yikes - looks like an Octupus is trying to swallow your steering column. Don't like the proximity to the brake valve

Is that header intended for RHD vehicles?

Good question. I do not know as I bought it (and the motor) used (but never fired) . I am doubting it....and am wondering if that would even matter ( wouldn't be 180 degrees on the other side....)?

RHD cars had the steering shaft on the other side of the engine but the header would be in the stock position, that header could have been made for a 280z where the brake switch assembly is up on the firewall and you may have to do that. Is the steering shaft actually touching the header?

You might get away with a shim under the D/S engine mount and/or you could also cut and weld a notch into the header pipe.

Turned out I had the engine mount isolator "arms reversed.

Whoops, glad you found the problem.  Do you have pictures of the final assembly?
