The block color was scanned and then matched, from pictures it looks a little light, but hopefully in person its perfect. It's hard to judge block color, mine darkened with time/ age, but the parts with none of that the blue is pretty light. I'd give anything to go back to the 1st rattle can color I used, Ford blue. I ended up going to Pontiac blue and it's too pale. It has darkened some with time though so it's not as "baby boy blue". January 17, 20214 yr Author comment_614586 I rebuilt this 82-83 turbo distributor today. New bearing, all new zinc and a new z31 cas. only issue so far is the Cas disk I have might be bent. also Cas turbo upgrade method #2. This is for a 82-83 turbo distributor. Instead of using long nuts and bolts. I thought this would be a cleaner install. Drilled out the base to allow m5 jis screws. Then threaded and tapped the maxima cas Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/58568-duffys-171-series-1-240z-build/?&page=56#findComment-614586 Share on other sites

January 30, 20214 yr Author Popular Post comment_615274 From idea to test Fit in a week. Cnc cut next week. Only tweak is matching the step and radius of the step to the throttle bodies. This will be a decorative mount for a single piece fuel rail. February 11, 20214 yr comment_615921 Hey duff Love your build mate! Safari gold, black RKRs, red calipers! Your taste is impeccable! Few questions for you as looking at doing a few things the same as you, 1. With the 15x8s RKRs did you get any rubbing with the bc coilovers or big brake kit? 2. How have you found silverlines stage 3 kit? Performance wise, done any light track work? Did the brakes hold up?
