March 18Mar 18 comment_675343 Looking great!!!!I have a very similar setup. One problem I have is the heat from the headers affects the brake lines causing other problems. I've looked for a heat shield for the brake lines but haven't found anything yet.Mike Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/58568-duffys-171-series-1-240z-build/?&page=88#findComment-675343 Share on other sites
April 8Apr 8 Author comment_675578 I love it when a plan comes together! Fully operational below dcoe throttle body actuator for DBW ITB. Mostly hidden! April 9Apr 9 comment_675590 Very cool components, DBW should solve a bunch of tuning / drivability (cool start, idle speed and tip in) issues with the ITB's. Look forward to seeing the results. Friday at 06:00 PM4 days Author comment_675745 Here is something fun/ silly I have been thinking of and finally made. It’s a remote oil pressure distribution block made to look like the stock 240z brake prop valve. I previously had a steel T In the block, that broke off and then when I was using an easy out I cracked my stock block bung. I said never again! 3D metal printing is neat stuff. I had it tumbled to look even more cast. I run stock gauges and my ecu needs its own signal. This location allows stock wiring to also work. Sunday at 01:54 AM2 days comment_675764 And a perfect spot to put it. After I did the alternator upgrade I used that spot for my headlight relays. The location ads to a "stock look".
