3.2L engine parts arrived from Rebello today!

JE Pistons, Eagle rods and king race bearings. Rod bearing clearances are spot on. Marine Crank did a fanstatic machining job on my extra long stroke LD crank.

Your pistons look just like mine with the dish . What CR are you shooting for and what CC chamber in the head ?

So what is in the Rebello 3.2 kit?

What do you have to provide?

What head will you pair with it?

From Rebello

I got titanium valve retainers, pistons, rods, bearings etc...

I will be using a ported and bigger valve E31.

Machine work will all be done locally.

Crank repair and stroke was done by Marine Crankshaft.

So not using the LD28 block?

That goes to 3.4L, doesn't it. I believe it requires a custom crank though

No. Just a N42 block bored. I’m not chasing a ton of hp. The 3.4+ is a lot of work and $.

I actually think I will be at at 3.16 or something. But that sounds dumb. So 3.2L

Duffy you've done some great work to this S1 240z! I've been lurking for a while. Nice to see some chronological history of your build instead of just Facebook.

Thank you! Trying to make it a blast to drive, tinker, but also I can go back to bone stock fairly easily.

Well injectors are back and I have efi spark plugs.

I spent a while tuning this weekend and with Tioga’s help I think I finally found one of my major problems.  The tps was set at its highest sensitivity. It would bounce from .34-.49. Thus causing the ecu to think it needs to apply timing and fuel and making it run terrible. I turned it to the lowest and it’s rock solid at 0% and .01 of a voltage change.

Haltech is a nice system. But wow is there a lot of settings.

If anyone needs Z car help. I would recommend Tioga with Automotive Solutions!
