October 18, 20177 yr Author comment_532688 interesting pic, I know the ZX shifter is a lot shorter than the Z to start with, those extra bends would make it sit even lower. Would like to see what it looks like installed. A person could find one cheap and weld Ford top portion to the ZX shifter. Not sure if it would work. Would have to experiment unless someone has already done it. Looks like the pivot point would be too high for what Joe is trying to accomplish of using a late 70 5-speed and a series I console without major cutting of the tunnel or console. If you have one send it to me and I’ll do some comparison. I will have my console and center bezel out to find out why my heater motor isn’t getting power.   Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/58624-wtb-81-83-shift-lever-wanted/?&page=3#findComment-532783 Share on other sites
