Well I finally got to meet someone from the board in person! Phi22b@ck came up to my house in jersey from maryland on frioday to bring a wonderful present!

As many of you may have read in some of my older posts one of my cars has been diagnosed with cancer really bad. I mean really really bad. This is one of the worst structurally rusted Z cars I have ever seen to date. The Rad support is swiss cheese. Floors non existant. Passenger side firewall along with the battery tray and inner fender well, a long lost memory. Seabelt supports underneath, good bye. Even the trans tunnel is soft where the e-brake handle mounts. Its a shame too cause the car is really sharp otherwise. So I made the decision to let this 78 go on to heaven.

phi22b@ck had a 76 parts car that is extremely solid. Original solid floors and the only rust on the car is in the battery tray, drivers side rear lower corner, the doglegs, and the inside of the headlight bezel support. the pics are pending approval in my galler. Soooo, everything from the cancer patient is being transferred over to its new home!

phi22b@ck is a really great person and cool dude to hang with. we spent about 11 hours getting the rest of the bits off the car he wanted and dug through my parts bins for some stuff for the race car which I was glad to make a donation to.

Thanks again phi22b@ck!!!!!!!!!1

Sorry, the car was missing its bumpers, hood, fenders and the Recaro's when I bought it...:disappoin And yes, it's been sitting in the woods like that for almost 8 years..... not a lot left to pick from except suspension bits and maybe a few things off the engine... had a decent hatch last time I looked... maybe you can get Dan to deliver that as well.... The car is already his, it was part of the package with the trailer.

Now you know one of the reasons I sold the trailer, less temptation that way.....

Oh it was a great time!! I have to say, it was my pleasure, the car is definitely in good hands. Heck, it was worth the drive just to see a shell sitting on its side on dollies in a one car garage! :) But really St. Stephen was very hospitable, and kept the yellow nectar flowing at a nice pace. :)

Really -- I had a wonderful time -- and many thanks for the bits to help the ITS car.

Keith -- of course I delivered on the trailer you sold me. And no, I probably wont be able to haul the other parts car home for a bit. My wife likes having the driveway back... :) But soon... sooon indeed.

Doubt he needs a hatch, I left mine on there which was still in great shape. But hey -- if you need one St. Stephen, let me know.
