Extinguisher location?

My thought was behind the passenger seat mounted to the deck wall. Where people like to drill holes for speakers in the tool box.

Don't know the technical name for the space. :)

Thats kind of big though no? I forget which one I had but it was about  half that size.

Maybe measure the distance for the mounting bracket and see if you can mount on the rail of the deck that has screws already. You'd likely be able to drill a hole in the extinguisher bracket.

If I put it in the corner like Mr Arnett's it would hit the back of the passenger's seat, right?

Also like the idea of using preexisting holes as JSM suggest. I'll see if that's a possibility behind the passenger's seat too.

Thank you all for your replies. I tried the front of the seat base but the nozzle wouldn't allow it.

Thanks again, Cliff. :)

I mounted mine in front of the passenger seat and held in place with a

ribbon of Velcro which is passed through a hole in the seat foreward

support and around the extinguisher.  Pull the red Velcro tab and it’s free.
