I would like to turbo my L24 engine, it has a N42 head and I have a dual carb set up, what is the best way to turbo my engine.

Find a donor 81-83 turbo zx complete and steel all the necessary items.

You've left out a lot of important information like budget and HP goals.

Since you want to turbo what you got it sounds like your budget is rather low.

Remember more HP means more $$$. You'll spend a lot of money buying it piece by piece than finding a complete car.

The N42 with the block you have is likely high compression and won't like a lot boost, but it can be done.

Like JSM said, start with the L28ET motor complete. It is a much better starting position and EFI is more practical. Maybe Megasquirt. Lots of work and takes plenty of money to build a motor that will last
