S130 Fairlady Z

Any others out there? This one I owned for 30 years, bought it Misawa, Japan circa 1987. I just lost her this year in a shop fire :-(

Yuck. Sorry for your loss.

Did the fire start in the engine compartment? Is that why the corners are pried up? To stick the extinguisher in there?

Oh man I am SO sorry to see this happen to such a good looking car! You must have been pretty upset at the shop. Even though they likely paid for it, this beautiful classic is gone. :PLEURE:

Car next to it was a head on collision with a deer, the shop did not disconnect the battery, after two weeks it decided to catch on fire. Insurance agent, said that this is a common occurrence with deer collisions. I have moved on, insurance treated me right, so please no comments about taking the shop to court...With the funds I received I was able to purchase my 1970 Fairlady Z.

Sorry for your loss. Glad it worked out in the end. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get those wheels? Japan I imagine. I have been looking for tasteful replacements for the chrome ones on my pacific blue metallic '80 federal model.
