December 5, 20177 yr comment_536730 Personally I would like the looks of 4 wheel drilled and slotted disc through my Rewinds. Those drums look bad to me but they do work very well on my car. December 5, 20177 yr comment_536732 My drums were trashed and the complete internal hardware missing. All the rest Of the suspension was destroyed as well so.... might as well go fresh and pretty. No reason other than aesthetic for me really. December 5, 20177 yr comment_536733 Putting new pads on disks is so so easy, they also look cooler:) Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/59097-rear-disk-brake-conversion/?&page=2#findComment-536733 Share on other sites
December 5, 20177 yr comment_536756 Drums are surely sufficient for braking in the original form in all but extreme or track conditions, but disc are much simpler in many ways and don't need any adjustment. They are also much easier to visually inspect. They also have a nice visual aesthetic to them...
