Looking for a gas tank.  My tank is leaking for the neck and at the seam. Any body no of where I can't get one fir a reasonable price?   Any one know of other gas tanks that will work on a 72 240?

You'd probably be ahead by having yours fixed. A good cleaning and new evap hoses are great. They're hard to find and if you do pretty exspensive. 

OK thanks   now I have to find some place that repair gas tanks near Chicago.  

Check local radiator shops, some do fuel tanks too.
