The look is cool but the technology will just get more and more dated and unuseable. December 13, 20177 yr Author comment_537352 D280Z, What brand of tach did you use and what mod did you have to do to make it work? That might be the best thing for me to do. December 13, 20177 yr comment_537353 I think it was a auto meter but don't think the brand would change much and all I did was use a old extra stock mounting cage I had from dead speedometer or tach the both the same and used a dremel tool cut out the back of said cage but leave the stock mounting holes and a fix the new tach in that cage then remount it as it did in the first place took me a couple hrs you just need to be a little crafty is all.Sent from my SM-G530W using Classic Zcar Club mobile Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/59149-tachometer/#findComment-537353 Share on other sites

December 24, 20177 yr comment_538242 I recommend the capacitor fix from zdriver .com. Even with my terrible soldering skills, I was able to get my tachometer working again for just a few dollars.
