December 17, 20177 yr comment_537740 This is a great deal, and knowing how Guy ( @Diseazd ) is with Zcars, you can't pass on this opportunity. His work is done the 'right' way.... December 18, 20177 yr Author comment_537788 I never have been one to try to get top dollar....I just know I won't ever use it with all the L28's I've got. Hope to help someone out with a real nice L24. December 19, 20177 yr comment_537907 My name is Craig and I live in Reston, VA. I have a late model 260Z with 43,500 miles. While I've considered numerous options for replacing my anemic L26 with the flat top Hitachi SUs, I imagine your upgraded L24 runs smoother and makes considerably more power. Having put 1500 miles on your rebuilt engine, were you able to "feel" the before after performance differences? BTW, I know Eiji and have visited him at Datsun Spirit in Manassas, VA. December 19, 20177 yr Author comment_537914 You will feel quite a difference in this engine versus a stock 240Z engine......especially if you put round top SU's on it. December 20, 20177 yr comment_537920 There you go! $2,650? for a nice and shiny motor. I'd do it in a heartbeat if I needed a good motor and like new carbs. You're not going to save much money doing it yourself and Diseazed's stuff is top shelf. Trigger needs pulling! The best Christmas presents are the ones you buy for yourself. Especially with any money you get from Santa.
